My stay at Poco Diablo Resort was a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of Sedona. The beautiful, modern decor of my room made for a pleasant experience, but I did encounter a few minor issues with outdated features. The dog-friendly amenities were a highlight, and while the staff was friendly, the dining service at times felt a bit understaffed.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and cozy, with lovely appointments like a jacuzzi tub. However, some areas felt a bit outdated, and the carpet needed cleaning.
Service
7.0
The staff were warm and accommodating, although I did notice some delays in the dining area due to understaffing. Overall, they were responsive and helpful.
Location
9.0
Located conveniently near hiking trails and the serene beauty of Sedona, the resort was both peaceful and accessible without being in the busy downtown.

While I enjoyed the food when I ordered room service, I found the dining area's service occasionally lacking, which detracted from the experience.

7.2/10

I had a mix of experiences during my stay. While I enjoyed the beautiful views of the red rock mountains and the peaceful atmosphere, I did face some issues with noise from neighbors which disrupted my sleep. The layout of the resort provided a nice retreat from the busy tourist areas, making it a pleasant place to unwind.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious and had a lovely view over the pond and grounds. However, the decor felt a bit dated and there were some noticeable stains on the carpet. The king-sized bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep despite the room's shortcomings.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I appreciated their quick response to my maintenance requests, although the lack of daily housekeeping was a bit inconvenient. Room service was prompt, and I enjoyed the complimentary drink they included with my meal.
Location
7.0
The resort was conveniently located just outside the downtown area, making it easy to explore Sedona’s attractions. It had a tranquil feel which I appreciated, though some amenities were a bit far for easy access from my room.
Dining
6.0
I found the on-site dining options to be adequate, but I wouldn't call it really good. While the restaurant offered a discount for guests, I preferred to explore the many fantastic restaurants in Sedona for meals. The quality of food could use some improvement.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were decent, with a hot tub that I enjoyed during my stay. I had wished for a microwave in the room and noticed that the water pressure in the shower was a little low. Nonetheless, the overall facilities added to the experience.

While the service was mostly efficient, I encountered a staff member who didn't seem particularly friendly. Overall, I felt relaxed and enjoyed my time but encountered a few minor issues with my room that detracted slightly from the experience.

The room was spacious with large windows offering a amazing view of the Sedona Buttes. However, I did have some issues with sound traveling through the walls, making it feel less private.

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Wes Lugville, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. However, I did encounter a staff member at the bar who seemed a bit unhappy.

I found the spa services to be fantastic, with expert staff making for a relaxing experience. However, I wish there had been better options for room amenities, like a microwave and hair dryer.

5.8/10

My stay at Poco Diablo Resort was filled with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, although I faced a few hiccups during my visit. The friendly staff made check-in a breeze, and I appreciated the pet-friendly policy, which allowed me to bring my dog along. However, there were some maintenance issues in my villa, including a musty smell and a cold bathroom that made my experience less enjoyable than I hoped. Overall, I'd consider returning for the location and ambiance, but I might think twice about dining on-site after a less-than-ideal restaurant experience. 🌄🐾
